In the middle of the night, during the Hungarian Revolution, my parents left everything and walked across the border in to Austria. They had nothing but the clothes they could carry, their children, and a baby stroller. After six months in a refugee camp in Austria, they were brought to the United States legally as refugees. I was born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania and lived there until I joined the Army as a high school dropout in 1976 at 17.

Why Congress, why now?
It is time to stop being a spectator and provide impact to the community, nation and global community. Let's face it, this world and country are at a crossroad. Congress spends so much time on hearings and partisan politics that the work of the people is not being accomplished. The citizens and legal residents are not being heard. Yet, I am listening to each of you.
As a nation, I believe that we should be "e pluribus unum" (out of many we become one) instead of party factions jostling for a specific political view. I see myself as "of the people" as I seek to continue to serve the people in our district so that we can come together as a community to "be the change" we wish to see in the world.
I hope that you will honor me with your vote and trust in this pivotal time in our nation's history. I view running for office as a long term job interview. Please participate in the interview process by attending meetings, sending emails, and contacting us if we can be of assistance.
Let's work our way back to "e pluribus unum". Our nation depends upon unity to thrive and create change. Please read our in depth candidate statement by click on the 'Candidate's Full Statement' button below.
